Notice how the foLlowing verse says to be 'like minded.' If you could give someone a boxed up defintion of practically living for God, this would come very close:
Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble. 
1 Peter 3:8-12

Searching for the right person, or the one you can love for the rest  of your life  can be a long, almost unending search. .  I'm not a phycologist,  so all I can share with you is from my experiences in life.
