God's Beautiful Name!

A deer may not be an immortal being but God cares even about this deer!  How much more us who were made in the very image of God himself! (Genesis chap 1) God has 'written eternity into our hearts! Ever wonder why God would do that?    The  Bible talks about it in Ecclesiastes.  Well, here may be the answer: This evening as I was watching the sun going down and talking to God in prayer, I felt Gods presence in my heart speaking to me.   Anyway, the message coming through to me from Gods Spirit was basically Gods love for me (and us) and I was telling God that I didn't really understand it all that much. Ever have a fear of the inevitable? It's like death - you know it's going to happen - you just don't know when.  Well I have another fear kind of like that. For months and months I wondered and worried slightly what would happen when the transmission failed on my white van that I drive for my job with Ontrac. Well God got me through that fear: Yesterday my transmission broke on my white Ford van. God worked it out for me to be able to only have to spend half the price on a rental van and half the price to fix the transmission and with payments that can be paid over the next two months instead of all at once! You won't believe how much that helped me. Gods grace everywhere I turned. In all of that I did my best to do what I could - but I couldn't of got by without the help from my boss for getting the van and finding an amazing rental rate. Beckah Shae, Faith Hope and Love Its funny, I was just talking to my son and daughter about the true meaning of love and how vital it is to know Gods unconditional love, that gives without expecting to get back.  My daughter mentioned how I Corinthians 13 where it talks about the qualities of love. The chapter ends saying that there is FAITH, HOPE but that the  greatest is LOVE! When you reach out and touch God, you are touching something tangible. Though you can't see God, you are still touching his very presence and it is made of real qualities - those of love.  Just like when you touch a needle you feel the sharpness of it, so also when you touch God you will find yourself feeling how faithful God is, how gentle he is, how kind and compassionate he is. Jesus Culture, Rooftops I sat in my bed on my twenty two foot Columbia sailboat this last weekend listening to this song. While I was listening I felt my heart wanting to touch God. I felt His presence and there's really no way to explain the conversation I had with God next as it involved tears and things so deep in my heart, I have trouble explaining them.
